There are 9 square fields 3*3. The countdown is from the top left, then to the right to the end, then down the line, from left to right, and so on. Each field has 16 small squares. First, the first 3 are painted. Counting is done from top to bottom from the left edge to the very bottom, then the next column from the top. First, the first 3 squares are highlighted in a light color, then the next 3. In this case, the extra light squares are transferred to the next column. And so on.
